11th Dec 1847	Married Jane LAMBDEN in Ashmansworth, Hampshire, England.
28th Mar 1848	Birth of son Henry GOLDING in Ashmansworth, Hampshire, England.
27th Jul 1851	Birth of son George GOLDING in Barton Stacey, Hampshire, England.
1870	Birth of son Charles GOLDING in Vernham Dean, Hampshire, England.
14th Mar 1894	Died in Hibbert Township, Perth, Ontario, Canada.

In 1847 he was living in Ashmansworth. In 1851 he was living at Barton Stacey. In 1871 we find them living in Vernham Dean. They came to Canada sailing aboard S.S. Sarmation leaving Liverpool October 14, 1874 arriving October 26. They were accompanied by Henry and Sarah and their three children. After a few months they moved to Hibbert Township where they spent the rest of their lives. Henry for some reason used the name George Golding after he came to Canada and is buried under the name of George in the Staffa Cemetery.
